Lil' Girl

One of my latest strategies right now in making sure that I get to use my papers is to go by the brand. It may seem very common sense, simple and typically "why-didn't-I-think-of-that-before," but when one sees a lot of beautiful papers for scrapping, one tends to use the newest purchases and forget the rest. Hehehe!

I am also happy because for the 2nd straight week, I was able to create a LO that's again based on Sketchy Thursdays' challenge.

For this layout of my niece, Makayla, I used all Prima patterned papers from their Annalee and Paislee Road lines. Other materials used were AAS pearl flowers and foam alphas, white cardstock, and peach cord.

I really adore these pictures of Kayla! She really hams it up in front of the cam!

Love, love, love doing LOs of little girls, esp. my nieces, as I don't have (yet) a daughter of my own.

Some detailed shots:

Fussy-cut the paisley flowers and topped the centers with AAS pearls:

White alphas also from AAS and a three-layered Martha Stewart monarch butterfly:

Another 3-layered MS monarch butterfly and the journaling detail, a quote about little girls:

TFL and have a great week ahead! :D
