So Cute!

I was inspired by my latest win here so I decided to create another layout of my niece, Louise Dominique. Hahaha!

I am loving the sketches designed by the Creative Scrappers' team. I've lost count of how many layouts I made based on their sketches.

As always, some close-ups and details:
The yellow doily was sprayed with Maya Mist in lemon yellow. Flower from Prima. Chipboard swirl from Maya Road, painted with gold acrylic paint and heat gunned for added texture.

The red doily, on the other hand, was sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in red currant. The small yellow flowers are from All About Scrapbooking.

I made sure to put my heat gun to work. So here's another bigger Maya Road chipboard swirl, painted with gold acrylic and I heat-gunned away to my heart's desire. Hehehe!

Have a great week!

Adorable

If Adore was about a father (my hubby) who totally adores our son...

Then Adorable is about our little one.

This photo was taken when he was only 1.5 months old. A mother (that's me!) can only sigh in appreciation of this special gift from the Almighty.

Materials are mostly from Little Yellow Bicycle's Snugglebug Boy collection.

Some close-ups and details:
As I love fussy cutting the images on patterned paper, look at what I did with the SNB-101: Boy Playtime specialty cardstock. I used it as a dimensional embellishment! Wee! :D

The paper cord: used as border and made the ends meet via a pretty little knot. ;D

Lastly, a close-up shot of "Snips and snails..." phrase sticker from SNB-135: Favorite Pieces stickers, which I used as journaling detail. Used double-sided foam tape for added dimension. Looove it!!! :D

This layout was also based on Creative Scrappers sketch #124:

A very long post! Whew!

Happy scrapping!

Coordinates Collections October Blog Hop

Materials used: Patterned papers: Kaisercraft. Cardstock: DCWV.
Flowers and blings from Prima. Pebeo paint for the "stitch-like" border.
Opaline pearls from Basic Grey. Alphas: AC Thickers. Kraft envelope: Making Memories.
White pearl flower, brad, leaves and wood butterfly: All About Scrapbooking.
Martha Stewart edge punch. Glimmer mist. Jo Sonja opal dust. Others: lace, metal clip.

Here's another page I made of my niece, Louise Dominique.

I entered this in Coordinates Collections' October Blog Hop Challenge: Hidden Journaling here.

I'm going to give this to my sister, and I leave the journaling details to her. I included the Maya Road kraft envelope where she could put her special message to Louise. This is also the 'hidden journaling' challenge requirement of CC October blog hop.

Patterned papers were all from Kaisercraft.

I also used Creative Scrappers' sketch #120 for this layout.

Lastly, want to know how I created these hand-made paper flowers? :)

Life is a Journey, Enjoy the Ride!

Here's the layout that I mentioned in yesterday's post which I was unable to upload. This page used papers from My Little Shoebox's Away We Go line.

I also based this on Creative Scrappers' sketch 119.

Materials used: Patterned Papers and 11" Round Cardstock Paper: My Little Shoebox and Kaisercraft (for the background). Paint: Pebeo. Puncher: Martha Stewart Crafts Edge Punch. Journalling Cardstock Sticker: Hambly Prints. Alpha Brads: K & Co. Alpha Stickers: KI Memories. Blings: Prima. Others: ribbon, chipboard alphas and buttons from my stash.
