Cutie

Another LO completed! Woohoo! :D

This one's for Sketchy Thursdays' 8.18 sketch challenge:

I used up the remaining stash of My Little Yellow Bicycle's Snugglebug collection, with additional papers from Twig collection, also from MLYB.

These are photos of my little boy when he was just two-and-a-half months old! :)

As always, here are some close-ups:

Have a great week ahead!

Nurture Curiosity

*Scheduled post*

I made this LO for Sketchy Thursdays' 6.9 challenge, using the sketch posted below:

Patterned papers, corrugated shapes, embellishments from Little Yellow Bicycle's Twig line. Alphas from American Crafts. Wood veneer butterfly from Studio Calico. Prima mask, ribbon and blings. Glimmer mists. Bazzill cardstock. Local ribbon and corrugated board.

My little one had fever last Friday night. I made this a scheduled post to be submitted in time for the challenge's deadline.

Gotta go. Thanks for looking peeps. :D

My Precious Little One

Here's a layout featuring photos of "My Precious Little One" when he turned six months old, in December 18, 2008. :)

All materials used in this LO are from Little Yellow Bicycle's Snugglebug Boy line, except for the rainbow with clouds, which are my scraps from DCWV and My Little Shoebox.

I used Sketchy Thursdays' 02.03 sketch below:

In lieu of the portions on journaling, I used Ranger liquid pearls.

I placed my journaling instead on the top part of the title. I was inspired by Scrap That Poetry's latest challenge, "May You Always Feel Loved."

Hence, I wrote this message to my baby boy, "You will always be loved... my precious little one." :D

I also made a journaling out of this sticker strip, "Snips and snails and puppydog tails, that's what little boys are made of" also from LYB.

Look at these teeny-weeny mushrooms! I cut them out and used double-sided foam tape for added dimension. :D

Hope you likey! :D

Adorable

If Adore was about a father (my hubby) who totally adores our son...

Then Adorable is about our little one.

This photo was taken when he was only 1.5 months old. A mother (that's me!) can only sigh in appreciation of this special gift from the Almighty.

Materials are mostly from Little Yellow Bicycle's Snugglebug Boy collection.

Some close-ups and details:
As I love fussy cutting the images on patterned paper, look at what I did with the SNB-101: Boy Playtime specialty cardstock. I used it as a dimensional embellishment! Wee! :D

The paper cord: used as border and made the ends meet via a pretty little knot. ;D

Lastly, a close-up shot of "Snips and snails..." phrase sticker from SNB-135: Favorite Pieces stickers, which I used as journaling detail. Used double-sided foam tape for added dimension. Looove it!!! :D

This layout was also based on Creative Scrappers sketch #124:

A very long post! Whew!

Happy scrapping!
