Webster's Pages "We Love Our Guys" Challenge

Yahoo! I was able to put on my creative cap this afternoon and came up with this LO of my boys for Webster's Pages' June 2012 challenge. WP has such beautiful products and I was very fortunate to have won in some of their past challenges, so I hope I get lucky again this time! :D

I used WP's Yacht Club papers, as well as bits of Seaside Retreat and Party Lights patterned paper and diecut stickers from their Nature's Storybook line. I also used WP embellishments: princess florettes, alpha stickers, sparklers, whimsies and designer threads.

This LO features the two most important men in my life. Photos were taken last year during a nephew's birthday party, March 2011.

I love that I was able to add various layers and textures on my LO. Rolling the sides of the paper at the corner adds depth, also showing off the designs on the back part.

Featuring some close-up shots to showcase the details:

That's it! Enjoy the weekend!

Materials used: Webster's Pages pps, princess florettes, alpha stickers, diecut stickers, designer thread, whimsy, sparkler. Zva Creative crystals. Maya Road pins. Karen Foster metal label. Martha Stewart punchers. Tim Holtz distress inks. Ranger crackle paint. Twine. White cardstock. Gesso. Local flowers and gold brad.

I Am

Gosh, it's been 5 months!

Well, I'm back again with another Webster's Pages layout of... myself. Hehehe! :D

I was supposed to include this in their Girly Challenge but didn't have time to update my blog. *sigh*

I do hope I'll be able to join in their next challenge. I sooo loved my last prize from them!

The following WP products were used for this layout:
Of course, providing some close-up shots:

Other materials include Maya Road pearl pins, Pink Paislee alpha stickers and dangle elements, Dusty Attic wire dress form, Martha Stewart puncher, local ribbon, lace and white twine.

That's it!

TFL and have a great week ahead!

Grow

Hope everyone's having a happy Sunday! :D

Just discovered the ScrapFIT challenge blog through a local scrapbook group in Facebook, as well as their Workout #53 challenge.

I placed my journaling in my "Grow" layout of my little boy around the Tattered Angels stencil. Journaling reads: Wear your big smile. Play what you want to play. Be as happy as you can be.

Materials used: WEBSTERS PAGES: patterned papers, diecut stickers. PRIMA: patterned papers. TATTERED ANGELS: glimmer mist, stencils. Others: chipboard alphas.

Thanks as always! :D

One Fine Day

Here's a layout that I created based on Stuck?! Sketches' September 1st challenge. I love the outcome so much! Mr. Creative Mojo stayed with me the whole time I was making this page of my hubby and son. :D

Four Websters Pages LOs!

Yipee! I thoroughly enjoyed the Webster's Pages class taught by WP DT lead, Iris Babao-Uy held last July 2, 2011 at our LSS, Lasting Impressions.

We used the latest WP products, namely: Yacht Club, Spring Market and Ladies and Gents collections. I added a few more WP stuff that I had, such as the princess petals, designer thread, whimsy heart and whimsy flower.

Here are my layouts:

4.16.05

The month of May was such a super busy month that I was unable to do my favorite hobby and neglected to update my blog, as well.

Anyway, I'm back with a new layout! This is another Webster's Pages project, one of my favorite brands. This is also the first time that I used numbers, i.e., (my wedding) date, for a layout's title.

The following Webster's Pages products were used for this LO:

Miracles Occur patterned paper from A Sweet Life collection
Princess Petal from Country Estate collection
Whimsey Flower
Whimsey Heart
Lavender Trim
Nature's Storybook die-cut stickers
Postcards from Paris alpha stickers
Small scraps from Enjoy Life (Wonderfall) patterned paper.

I was also able to apply various mixed media embellishments and techniques on this layout. Here are some close-ups:

Other materials used: gesso, soft matte gel, crackle paint, distress ink, embellishments (bling, pearls, beads, sequins, flowers), Basic Grey pp (base) and butterfly pp (unknown brand) from my stash.

My Life's Blessings

My latest LO featuring the following Webster's Pages products:

Wonderfall Count Your Blessings patterned paper;
Nature's Storybook die cut border sticker;
Storytellers Alpha Stickers - Garden Gala;
Rust trim;
Whimsey Hearts; and
Whimsey Flower.

This is my third LO using WP's Wonderfall line, and I'm still in love with this collection. The first and second LOs were posted here.

I made this photo of my DH and DS into b&w, with a bit of shading on the corners for drama. Love how it turned out when printed! :D

Close up on the title. I didn't use 'Count Your Blessings' anymore because I already used it in a previous LO's title. Instead, I removed the 'count your' phrase, used WP's storytellers alpha stickers and came up with the title, My Life's Blessings.

These WP whimsey flower (below pic) and hearts (above pic) are so dainty!

Close-ups on the fussy cutting.

WP patterned papers are not just beautiful, they're also very economical. I only used 1 patterned paper on this LO and that's more than enough to complete my LO. :)

Other materials used: Martha Stewart arch lattice punch, Tattered Angels glimmer mist, local ribbon and gold cord, Creative Imaginations brad and white cardstock.

Precious

Totally enjoyed the Crate Restoration class by Iris Babao-Uy, which was held last January 22. We made a mini-canvas album and a 12x12 layout. I'm done with both! Hahaha. :D

Anyway, here's the layout which we duplicated from Iris' but using our own photo. It's a girly LO so it's Louise, my niece, who's my subject this time.

In the class, we were taught how to use structuring medium on masks to make it even more dimensional. Look at how a plain chipboard bird and Prima mask was transformed with the application of the structuring medium, distress inks and gold dust!

This corner was created with the use of Prima masks and Maya Road mist:

This body form with florals were cut from Webster's Pages Sweet Season patterned paper:

I'm going to feature the mini-canvas album next!

Have a great week ahead!

Kayla

A layout of my niece, Makayla. Isn't she soooo adorable? :)

The materials used in this LO were still from the Webster's Pages class conducted by Iris. The decorative die-cut sheet is an extra from the kit and we were asked to create a LO using this along with the leftovers. So here's what I made.

What I love most about WP patterned papers are the ability to hand-cut the beautiful images and and the freedom to position them to complement my layout.

I also added black cardstock and red butterflies from DCWV, Prima flowers and pearl swirls, Bo Bunny flower and AC Dear Lizzy alpha thickers.

I loove the combination of these Prima crocheted and Bo Bunny flowers, topped with Webster's Pages button sparkler! Oh, lets not forget the Prima pearl swirls. They make a page much, much more beautiful! :)

This Making Memories metal ribbon label, aptly describes my niece: charming. :)

TGIF tomorrow! :)
