Card - Birthday

Yay! I made another birthday-themed card again with my leftovers from Echo Park's Sweet Summertime and A Walk in the Park lines.

Some close-ups for you:
It's summer again, so time for some banner love. :)

Hand-stitched the middle portion of the card using DMC floss. Added decorative punched borders using Martha Stewart punchers. Put in some flowers and pinwheels for an added cutesy touch! :)

My pretty pinwheels!

The greeting sentiment.

Another one of my hand-made ribbon flower.

Summer

This layout has long been in my files but I never had the chance to feature it in my blog.

I know I used a sketch for this but already forgot which site I got it. LOL

Anyway, the patterned papers and journal card used in this LO are all from Echo Park's Sweet Summertime line. Additional materials include Magic Mesh, Martha Stewart edge punch, Autumn Leaves clear stamp, Ranger distress stickles, DMC gold thread, gold brad, metal label holder, local ribbons and toothpicks! :D

I created a double banner out of these windmills. Love it!

More windmills on toothpicks.

I made a medal ribbon out of this Autumn Leaves quote stamp.

More windmills and the journaling detail.

Hope you enjoyed what I shared today and TFL! :D

Friends Forever, Apart or Together

The title is such an apt description about the father-and-son relationship of my hubby and our little one.

All papers used in this LO are from Echo Park's A Walk in the Park line and a few papers from Sweet Summertime. The title was also taken from the Element Card paper cut-out from the same line.

I am entering this in Sketchy Thursday's 11.25 sketch challenge here. The sketch is shown below:

Recognize this green background which I used as base for the Friends Forever? It's a Prima packaging paper! :D

Combine beautiful, bright and colorful strips of paper from the Blissful Days border paper, ribbon trim, Martha Stewart garden trellis puncher and what have you got? A perfect base to hold your LO and photo together. :D

Last but not the least, some banner love. :D

Enjoy the rest of the week and TFL!
