My Life's Blessings
My latest LO featuring the following Webster's Pages products:
Wonderfall Count Your Blessings patterned paper;
Nature's Storybook die cut border sticker;
Storytellers Alpha Stickers - Garden Gala;
Rust trim;
Whimsey Hearts; and
Whimsey Flower.
This is my third LO using WP's Wonderfall line, and I'm still in love with this collection. The first and second LOs were posted here.
I made this photo of my DH and DS into b&w, with a bit of shading on the corners for drama. Love how it turned out when printed! :D
Close up on the title. I didn't use 'Count Your Blessings' anymore because I already used it in a previous LO's title. Instead, I removed the 'count your' phrase, used WP's storytellers alpha stickers and came up with the title, My Life's Blessings.
These WP whimsey flower (below pic) and hearts (above pic) are so dainty!
Close-ups on the fussy cutting.
WP patterned papers are not just beautiful, they're also very economical. I only used 1 patterned paper on this LO and that's more than enough to complete my LO. :)
Other materials used: Martha Stewart arch lattice punch, Tattered Angels glimmer mist, local ribbon and gold cord, Creative Imaginations brad and white cardstock.

A Very Happy Day (Card)
Here's a third card that I was able to make last weekend. Materials used were from the scrapbooking class which showcased Nikki Sivils' We Are Family line.
I cut out this group of kites and used foam tape for that added 'pop' effect.
Ranger Liquid Pearls in white opal were applied to create the dotted outline border on the blue cardstock base, as well as on the sentiment.

Scrap That January Kit: Cards
After three (3) layouts, I was able to create these two cards out of my scraps from the kit.
Happily Ever After: wedding card intended for a friend who'll be married soon.
Bon Voyage: for my aunt. I'll give this to her together with a special gift when she leaves for the States.
That's it! Hope you liked what I shared today. :D

Sweet Summer
Here's the fourth layout that I mentioned in my Nikki Sivils Day post. I decided to make my own 4th LO, instead of scraplifting the one presented to the class. :D
I used patterned papers from Nikki Sivils' Tree Love and We Are Family collections, as well as the brown burlap buttons.
My cute kite. I applied liquid pearls to the zigzag lines for added dimension and attached baker's twine.

Happy Journey
UPDATE 05.05.2011: this was chosen as a Sketchy Thursdays' fave for the week's challenge. Yahoo!
---o0o---
Woohoo! Mr. Mojo's in town! I was able to create this layout on a weekday! :D
Materials used in this LO are mostly from Scrap That's January "Don't Stop the Carnival" kit, with additional stamps, inks and stickles.
I am entering this in the following challenges: Sketchy Thursdays' 4.28 sketch challenge and Scrapbookers Anonymous' May challenge to use stamps in creating a patterned paper and 3 embellishments.
First, Sketchy Thursdays' sketch on which I based this layout:
Second, the stamps challenge requirements of Scrapbookers Anonymous:
To create the stamped PP requirement, I painted the upper half of the base paper with gesso. Once dried, I used distress ink to stamp on the image. Hence, the result:
Next, the 3 stamped embellishments:
One, Prima clear stamp postcard
Two and three, the intricate frame and butterflies, also from Prima
My journaling entry: Motherhood is such a happy journey!
The photo was taken on my 38th birthday. Very sentimental message and memorable day. :D
This is also an advanced Happy Mother's Day LO... for me! Hehe! :D
Thank you. :D
Materials used: Scrap That! January kit. Others: Teresa Collins clock transparency, Martha Stewart puncher, Tim Holtz and Prima stamps, Ranger stickles, distress inks and crackle paint, alcohol ink, gesso, black journaling pen, local brads and bling.

Nikki Sivils Day!
Last Saturday, together with my colleague, Flor, we attended a scrapbook class which featured the "We Are Family" line of Nikki Sivils. NK DT gal, Ria and fellow Pinay scrapper, Pia, both taught the class.
We created four LOs, but I'll only feature the 3 LOs in this post. The last one deserves a solo post. ;)
Big Boy: I won a Nikki Sivils gift for this! Woohoo! :D
All In The Details: my little one, the serious reader. :D
A Dad's Life: hubby and our son having fun in the playground.
Hope you likey! :D

Scrap That January Kit: A Father's Love (Part 2)
A happy scrappy Sunday to all! :)
I attended a scrapbook class yesterday. Together with my officemate, Flor, whose first time it was to attend a class, we had sooo much fun (and stress... LOL) completing a total of 4 LOs. :D
I'll feature those LOs in another post. For now, here's my 2nd creation using Scrap That's January "Don't Stop the Carnival" Kit.
That's me and my Dad in the photo, taken 6 years ago on my wedding day. :D
It's the first time that I made a "father and daughter" themed layout, so this makes it very sentimental.
Some close-ups and details:
I used Judikins Diamond Glaze once again on this die-cut frame. I first painted it with copper acrylic. Upon drying, I applied the glaze and topped the corners with stickles, both of which came from the kit.
These AC thickers foam alphas are such fun to use! :D
Black lace and pearl swirls, and butterfly from Prima. Punchers from Martha Stewart.
That's it! Have a great week ahead! :D
